Mentoring to Diversify the U.S. Biomedical Workforce

10/5/2015

In a video released by the iBiology website, Professor David Burgess of Boston College describes:
  • The National Research Mentoring Network (NRMN), an NIH-funded initiative created to support the training and career development of individuals from groups traditionally underrepresented in the biomedical, behavioral, clinical and social  science research careers.
  • NRMN will provide resources to enable mentees across career stages, as well as mentors, to engage in productive, supportive and culturally responsive mentoring relationships.
  • NRMN’s website NRMNet, enables participation in online mentorships with other scientists, register for NRMN’s professional development and training programs, and access online resources including news, a calendar of events, virtual courses and videos (produced and curated by iBiology).
This video was produced and brought to you by iBiology in partnership with the National Research and Mentoring Network (NRMN).
